tranny problems... again

Just took care of TC shutter at a ford dealer. now it seems my tranny is acting up again. It is not consistently happening but at times when down shifting, such as coming off the interstate, it almost feels as if the truck is bouncing... to me it feels like the engine is missing terribly but RPMs stay constant. I am 85% sure that it is the transmission slipping.

I was told that excesive use of the overdrive switch on the gear shifter will wear out a ford tranny, i used to use this alot as an engine break. stupid i know. my truck as 98,000 miles on it.

any ideas? i'm really hoping i don't have rebuild it or replace it.
