Drain converter

How hard is it to drain the converter I want to change oil and filter in my transmission 99 f-250 Light duty

It's not hard at all. Just remove the small rubber plug from the bottom of the bellhousing area. Turn the engine over until the drain plug on the converter is straight down. Use a 7/16 socket to remove the plug. After it has drained use some thread tape or other thread sealant on the plug and reinstall.

Make it easier the next time

Make it easier to find the drain plug the next time by using some type of permenant paint or ink marker and mark the vibration damper so the next time you will know where the drain plug is, without having to just bump the started or use a breaker bar on the crankshaft

Got er done

Changed fluid and Filter shudder is gone thanks for the advice.
