Question Grease fitting on slip yoke

Is there anyway to install a grease fitting on the slip yoke. i hate that damn clunking when the grease wears out. i purchased the ford teflon grease, and it stops the clunking and hard shifting. but it wears out after 3 to 4 months, and i have to pull the entire drive shaft to regrease it.

Go to the TCCOA web site. This site is for Ford Thunderbirds. A Ford transmission engineer posted a very long detailed paper about the 4R70W transmission and how to modify it for performance. One of the things he described is how to hook up a lube line to the rear bushing. According to him if you go to a 4.10 or lower rear in the car, the rear bushing may not be getting enough lube to survive. This line is tapped into the pressurized tranny lube an keeps the bushing continuously lubricated.
