Question 2004 STX - How to change tranny "speedo" gear?

I understand that there are no "gears" (as in the olden C5 transmissions), and this is done electronically somehow...

I am looking to change the ratio from 3.55 to 3.73 , and wish to have the transmission output corrected, so that the speedometer will still read correct.

Anyone know how to do this? Anyone have it done?
It may be a dealership computer diagnostic thing, but would at least like to know what I am talking about.

The dealership can recalibrate the computer for changes in tire size and gear ratio. If you don't want to take it to a dealership you can get a microtuner that will do the same thing.

Read in the Chips forums. Short answer is you plug it into the computer port and you can change the settings similar to what a dealer would do and then upload a performance program as well. I don't feel like explaining it all, so best thing is to just read in the chips forum. Theres about 50 different threads about them so you don't need to wait for a new post to be answered. Also if you're really lazy and don't feel like wading through the other threads there is this cool little search button at the top of the screen.
