lsd or powertrax no slip

i am debating whether to get a limited slip, ie auburn or eaton, or the powertrax no slip. i am on the road a lot but want to get better off road traction than my 8.8 open has. anyone out there have a powertrax? how do they handle on the street and on snow. is a non wheeler, ie parents able to adjust to a powertrax rear end ?any response appreciated.
Thanx
