i have a 98 f150 4x4 v6 with a 5 speed manual. i was wondering if there is an auto tranny that is NOT computer controlled that can also accomadate my transfer case.

I believe all of the four speed auto trans all interface with the computer. You might be able to match up a C-4 and cut a new driveshaft.

That said, I believe the aggrivation and cost involved it would be cheaper to sell your truck and buy one with the options that you want on it.
