Trans shifts to neutral?

I have a 4R70W, about a week ago, I came to a stoplight and when I tried to go, the engine revved like it was in neutral and the truck won't move. I shifted to "N" and then back to "D" and all was fine. Yesterday evening coming home, it did the same thing again. Both times, the trans was not fully warmed up yet, if that matters. Fluid was changed about 9K miles ago and still red, not burnt. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks!

Could be a loose shift solenoid, could be loose linkage. How many miles on the trans in question?

Hit Man X,
Thanks for your post. The trans. is a Ford factory reman that was replaced about 9K miles ago. With my S/C and shift kit, I know Ford won't warranty it.

Unhappy

Well, the problem seems to happen more frequently now. The trans downshifts fine but just before coming to a full complete stop, it slips into neutral. Has anyone had this problem?
