E4OD problem

Hi, I'm new to this forum, and looking forward to sharing info. I have a 1994 F150 and I just started experiencing problems with the transmission. When driving in overdrive on a level stretch, it downshifts, as if I was going up a hill. It doesn't do it all the time, and the fluid level is OK. Any ideas before I take it in for a diagnostic?? Thanks
