Squeek/Clicking while Accelerating

Hi All,
My dad is having a problem with his 98 F-150. Recently upon acceleration his truck has had a squeek and click to it from 10 to 35 mph. It really sounds like something in the transmission. He replaced the Clutch and Throw Out Bearing back in Nov. I did some searching and I tried the hub nut silicone trick and that didnt fix any noise. I really think its somethin in the tranny...Any Ideas??

Eric,

Does this squeak/click stop after 35mph? Does the sound come from inside or outside the vehicle? What makes you believe it is the tranny? Has it been shifting OK? Also, how many miles and has the tranny fluid been changed?

I've had different clicks and rattles, but they've all turned out to be little stupid things, like parts tags rattling off of heat shields.

Give us a little more detail and I'd bet somebody can give you an idea or two. Good luck with it!
