Question Break in period for ECU after changing battery

Guys, help me out here. I notice that after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, the performance just isnt there for the first few hundred miles. I understand that the ECU takes a while to "learn" and adapt to the way I am driving my truck. (01' SCab)
What I'm wondering is...after a battery reset, should I drive it hard to let the ECU know that I want hard shifts out of the tranny, should I drive like Ward Cleaver....or does it make no difference at all? Also, exactly what is the "break in period" for the ECU after a reset? I have heard 200 miles....I have also heard that my superchip ups it to 500 miles...what is the real story?

Thanks for the help...i dont think it makes any difference for this question, but my mods are; cold air intake, superchip, gibson exhaust.

Thanks again,
macro

It makes no difference at all.

The PCM does not learn how you drive. It does learn many parameters, but they are things to make it perform as close to ideal as possible. Driving easy or hard does not matter.
