Ye ol interlock revisited again... please help, interesting problem

'97 orp ext 4.6 -- of course stuck in park... just finished up a rotor/pad change in the front, and adjusted up the rears just a touch. tried the BFH to get the front left rotor off(hit approx 10x fairly hard) . ended cutting off rotors with a high speed, piece of cake-- they fell right off when hit again. anywho--- bleed brakes , nice solid pedal. jump in... stuck in park...

overide the interlock and truck drives great. no abs trouble light but no brake lights. has good conn at brake switch, no broken wires. keeps blowing 15a middle fuse second row(i dont have a owners manual) even with the key off and the brakes not depressed.

way confused. looks like i'll have to go to the local dealer. looking forward to your theories... i have a hard time believing that something with the wiring could of went wrong at the exact time i'm doing a brake job, and not be related somehow. argh!!!!!

thanks

doug
