the Mustangs have them why cant we

Im talking about Tremec Trannies.......really whay cant we have a good........ dang near bullet proof tranny............ im not complaining ........... about what i have now, ..........but what about up-grading..........some info on this please.....who would know anything about this matter.........i read from cover to cover MMFF "Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords" every month and all it shows are the Lightning guys tearing it up........what about us other non lighting f-150 owners ?? just a thought

The biggest issue is cost, but the Tremec isn't built for the weight either. In a 4.6 you can't get the 4R100, which is a pretty good box, or the new diesels get teh Torqueshift, which is a just plain awesome transmission.
