Post hitch for 96' Ford F-150

I drive a 96' Ford F-150, and I'm interested in purchasing a +5000 pound hitch. The problem is I have an exaughst job with pipes running underneath the frame. Can somebody give me advice on what I should or can do?

Basically, if your pipes are running on the inside or directly under the frame rails, you will have a harder time fitting the hitch. If they are on the outside, then you should be ok. The hitch will bolt directly under the rear rails and probably extend down another 3-4". I've seen tons of rigs with pipes out the back with frame hitches, so it can be done. It's just that the hitch was probably already there before the pipes.
