I'm purchasing a new 2009 Honda Foreman 4x4 ATV this week and wanted to know if it will fit in the bed of my 2002 SCrew. I have a trailer, but would rather not tow it to pick up my new ATV since it is 6.5 hrs away. It is a stock ATV and I hope it will fit, even if with the tailgate down. Anyone have experience with this?
Like everyone else says, tailgate down and it's fine. The only adult quads I've found that will fit in the 5.5' of a supercrew with the tailgate up, are a Yamaha Blaster and Honda 250ex/Recon.

I have a 300EX and it also fits nicely with the tailgate up.
I'm glad to hear that the TRX 500 will fit, I don't care if the tailgate has to stay down. I just didnt feel like driving from Houston to Brookhaven,MS with a trailer if I didnt need it. I will use the trailer for going to the duck lease though.
I hate driving those things up n down the ramps of my FX4 because its so steep, especially in the morning with no sun!
I usually use a trailer for both my quads, but occasionally, I put one in my bed. I have made use of ditches, curbs, and any other hill that helps lower the effective bed height for loading/unloading.

I had ramps, but gave them to a friend when I got my larger trailer. I don't put machines in my truck bed often anymore. So, one less thing to store in my garage! My quads weigh less than 400 pounds each, so not too bad if I only have to lift the front or rear 20" instead of 35"
