Uh... well... that's pretty much insane. I'd like to think the 12,500 is your GCWR, but I'd venure a guess that trailer is well over 7k at that length. I guess you like pushing the envelope.

FYI the truck is not stock at all. Overload springs, very built tranny, lightning engine w/ supercharger. The biggest problem was just the trailer way outweighing the truck so I took it very easy especially goin down the steep grades. But I could pull it up an 8% grade at 55 no problem. But absolutely not an every weekend tow. It IS too much trailer for my truck. Most of the time I am pullin our work trailers that weigh between 5-6000 pounds. It did get a lot of attention that weekend though at the gas stations.. lol and about 7 MPG

Don't want to burst your bubble but I doubt that trailer weights more then 8,000 to 9,000 lbs. Ship weight was 6610 according to keystone. Looking at the axles they are 5,200 lb axles at best, probably 3,500 lb or 4,000 lb axles. The tires are also lightweight tires they ship with so you'd be having blow out after blow out if the trailer weighted in at 12K lbs.

Don't want to burst your bubble but there i a metal ID tag right on the trailer that gives exact weight of the trailer. It's amazing how much you can tell about my trailer from a fuzzy picture I took with my camera phone.. Do you know how many keystone cougar trailers there are out there? You probably have specs from the wrong one.

it's the "new way", this site started as a great place to meet and learn, now it's a place for people to bash and argue about who's got the faster key board, majority of these "mods" the new crowd is bragging about is ricer tail lights and "blacked out" it's almost embarrassing somedays...

Post up the Tag then, I'm interested to see it or a weight slip from a scale. No offense but I looked at ALL the keystone Cougars out there 08/09 models and none came close to 12K lbs).

Finally got the pictures of my truck hauling the heaviest load it is ever likely to be asked to haul. It handled pretty well considering I was worried the lowering shackles might make it sit on the bump stops. I love my truck.
