Well, since spring is finally here – as signified by the larger piles of road salt finally washing away. So, it was time to detail the outside of the truck and put the 20’s on for the summer. For those of you wondering what might work on your Oxford White trucks, take a close look at the pictures and see what you think.
Here’s the process and products I used:
Wash with Dawn dish soap (To strip off the Collonite 845)
Wash with Zaino car Wash Soap (To get the Dawn off)
Dry with Leaf Blower, then Microfiber towels
Apply One Touch Tire Dressing to Wheel Wells
Tape off all textured black plastic w/ 3M Blue Painter’s Tape
Apply Zaino Swirl Remover with PC 7424 DA and Meg’s Polishing, then Finishing pad
Remove tape
Apply Zaino All in One (AIO)
Apply 3 coats of Zaino Z5 Pro with ZFX
Apply Meg’s Hyper Dressing to rubber & plastic
Apply Meg’s NXT 2.0 to all chrome
Apply Zaino Grand Finale
Apply beer to self (Topically of course)
