I recently purchased a 2013 FX4 with the Myford Touch with the 8" dispaly. The problem is that when I try to use Pandora via my Samsung Qalaxy s2 it fails to respond. When I push the talk button and say mobile apps it acts as if is not supported by giving the option of what can be said. I looked in the owners manual and it said that MyFord touch does not support Mobile apps but it seems that other people are using this option. Also if I go into the info portion it shows moble apps but when you try to install is gives an error. Anyone with some help would help out alot.

I have the same truck with a samsung s3. I access pandora through the phone and it streams through the stereo as it should. Prolly doesnt help you much as I just did it and it worked. Didnt have to do anything special. My only issue is the truck doesnt alert me when I receive texts. My buddy has the same truck with an iphone 4 and his system alerts and reads his incoming texts to him. He does have nav maybe that has something to do with it

 

My truck with nav and iPhone 5 reads my texts too. But I don't think I can send them.

 

I just bought a 2013 F150 Lariat, to get your pandora to play through your speakers on the MyFordTouch, after your phone is blue toothed to your MFT, choose BT Stereo.

 

mobile apps or not supported with MFT. is a big gap. you must buy a less expensive system to have the functionality.
