Question Help with coil spring spacers

HI all- I've considered coil spring spacers on top of my Fabtech spindle and block lift, but I'm wondering-

1. Does the alignment go off a lot with a 1.5 or 2" spacer?

2. what is the best brand?

3. will they affect ride much?

Any input would be surely appreciated!

coil spacers

Hey palerider, I have the daystar 1.5" spacers on my truck. The spacers do throw off the alignment a little, so you will need to install the camber adjustment bolt kit if you install them, then have an alignment. As far as brand, I believe that Daystar is the only ones available for our trucks. Energy Suspension is developing some, but I was told that they will not be available until the spring. The ride in my truck didn't change after I installed the spacers. I'm happy with mine, as are most who use them. Hope this helps.

Coil Spring Spacers

I recommend not installing spacers, my 98 had them on when I purchased her. Ride and the longevity of your front end parts are severely compromised. I had to replace both upper and lower ball joints before I had them removed. Although I would recomend a spindle lift kit and a body lift if your looking for a cheap way to lift your truck.
