Does anybody know...

Does anyboy know anything about Fabtech shocks? Ride? Feel?

I'm thinking about a suspension lift for my 97 2wd, and I'm wondering what shocks to use.

Never really heard of them, mostly Rancho, Elderbrock, and Blistens.

Looks like everyone else is being Silent Bob...

Sorry, had too, I'm bored tonight LOL

Everybody's a comedian, isn't that right 01!

Seriously, I was looking at the fabtech spindle lift on truckperformance.com and the kit origanly came with the Fabtech shocks. Now there is a choice. And I'm just wondering because the Bilstiens and the Edelbrocks are kind of pricey.

Sometimes when I am bored. I also figured it would get your post back to the top so some of these people with EXPERENCE would come along and help you out.

I know what you mean about pricey for the Elderbrock and Blistens. But from my very LIMITED knowledge of shocks they along with the Ranchos seem to be the ones that are talked about alot on here.

I want to get a set down the line either the elderbrock or ranchos the ones with 5 adjustments, they both sound good. At the moment I have been busy buying Craftsmen Tools

Dude, I can so feel your pain with the tools.

But I think I'm going to get the Bilstiens, but I think it will be one at a time though. Man, what I wouldn't give to win the lottery!

Thumbs up

I just installed a set of Edelbrocks on my Screw. I think the price is well worth it ! I am very happy with them. I had ProComp before and I hated them....

I honestly would not recommend anything fabtec sells on because of the lack of craftmanship. DON'T run the basic shocks or you will hate everything about your truck after words. The basic shock is not valved very well for full size trucks and cause a rough ride on smooth ground but in the dirt on service roads it will feel semi smooth until the ground gets rough and then you will be shaken right out of your seat.
