Put 1000 lbs in the back and drive around on some bumpy roads.
If you periodically load the truck down on trips, the rear springs will wear in/settle after a while. In a few years, the rear could be lower than the front.
On my 99 4x4 I put on set of roadmaster active suspension springs on the rear leafs. They are fully pre loaded and keep the rear 0.75" higher than the front when empty. But I do have a fiberglass cap on the bed all the time. I was also able to level the truck left to right (.25"), just by tweaking the roadmaster springs. The handling with and without a load is great now.
A truck with a sagging rear looks alot worse than a truck with the bed a inch higher than the front. JMHO
