My 98 F150 XLT has developed a rattle from the left rear-end. I checked it out and one leaf is twisted a little, and the clamp is loose. I've read alot about TSBs and a possible recall etc., but it doesn't look that hard to fix. Should I go to war with the dealer (bought it used) and be without wheels while they decide what to do, or should I go to PepBoys and do it myself? Input from anyone who did it either way would be welcome.
