Tools for PA 3"

I ordered a PA 3" Body Lift for my truck, a '99 F150Scab....
I am expecting it to be here this week and since it's not my daily driver I'm gonna start the dissasembly while I'm waiting on it.

Question is......I have already checked the bed bolts and they're a T-50.Are the cab bolts the same?????The reason I ask is a friend of mine told me they're a T-47 and he works in a body shop so I thought he would know.He is wrong about the bed bolts..........How about the cab???????You would know I have every Torx except a T-47 so I'd like to know before I get started.

Also.........Anybody run into anything interesting I should know or is it a pretty cut and dry assembly??

Thanks guys...............FRF

Wink

My bed bolts were T47 as well as the cab ones too..
My truck is a 2000, Im not sure what year yours is though???
Your going to have to cut your front bottom bumper black trim
so that the tow hooks can go through with the frame...
Make sure you use Loctite on all bolts...
Thats about all I can think of for now..

Good Luck though!!

Thanks Tweaker....

Why in the world they would change those from one year to the next I have no idea.

Seems as though I'm the only one with T-50's in the bed.Not sure about the cab bolts cause I haven't torn into it yet but surely they're the same.

Solved my problem about the T-47 though.Bought a whole new set just to be sure.:

Thanks again.........FRF
