I want to get the 2" lowering shackles to level off the "rake" in my truck's stance. This question is for all those who have done this. Will I still have a little rake in the stance after the drop? I don't really care, my concern is I don't want it to accidently end up lower than the front.

I believe that the F-150 sits 2.5" higher in the back than in the front, so you will be level if not just slightly raked. But dont trust me 100 percent.

 

A 2" rear drop will basically level out your truck.

I want to do the same to my 2000 F150 4x4 Lariat Extended Cab. Where are you getting the info/kit to lower it? 2 Inches lower in the rear is what I want. Along with a Rear swaybar. Any more info would sure be appreciated.

 

I already ordered the hellwig rear sway bar from JCwhitney.com

Iam going to get the 2" Belltech shackles from LFP.

 

Whats "LFP"? Where can I get some of the info for the shackles?

i got the shackles from LFP too. great service. my truck was lowered 1in all around from the factory, so.... the stance might be a little lower.... but it should be the same rake you will get. mine is still higher in thae back by a bit, i dont know how much exactly. but, check out my gallery for pics. and let me know if you have any other ?s.

Sounds good! That is what I wanted to hear. I am waiting on LFP to get some more shackles in. He lives near me so I can swing by and pick them up. Thank for the help. Godd Looking truck also!
