Talking Rcd Liftkit W/315 Tire Question ?

I was debating on getting RCD liftkit 5inch w/315 tires or fabtech 6 inch lift. RCD 5 inch will set as high as 4 inch on are ford 4x4. Anyone here have RCD 5 inch lift. Is the ride as smooth as stock or better. I was quoted $3759.05

RCD 5 Inch liftkit $1499.00 $ 1499.00
315/75r16 MT $ 217.00 $ 868.00
Labor for kit $ 650.00 $ 650.00
Labor mount and
balance tires and wheels$ 50.00 $ 50.00
16x8 baja 5x135 rims $105.00 $ 420.00
Labor to align $ 69.99 $ 69.99
Tax 202.06 $ 202.06 $ 202.06
Total $ 3759.05

what do u guys think is this a good deal or not. this is a lot of cash.

I'd say you can do better. I got the Fabtech 6" kit for my 4x4, 2" ProComp add-a-leaf, 16x8 AR Baja wheels, 315 ProComp Muds, and 4.56 gears installed (front and rear) for $4100.

I have the RCD 5" with 315 tires. I love this set up. I think that it rides much better than stock. It is more firm of a ride than stock, but that is what makes it better IMO. No body roll when cornering. I think that it is the perfect lift and tire combination for these trucks. The numbers you posted seem to be right inline with what I paid. It is a lot of money, but it is well worth it. I say "GO FOR IT" You won't be disappointed.
