Torsion Bars Adjustment....do i need to jack it up?

Ive read a bunch of the threads and I didnt see it answered or asked anywhere. When I try and crank my Torsion Bars Up will I need to Lift up each of the front corners of the car while I do it? And its clockwise that will raise it right?

Just leave it on the ground, that way you can make quick measurements. They are not that hard to turn up, if so you can jack it up to turn them but then you have to let it back down to bounce the suspension to settle them in and take your measurement.
