Raise 4x2 so it looks like a 4x4

I would like to raise my 2001 F150 Screw 4x2 so that it looks like a 4x4. What is the best way to go about doing this and how much would it cost?
PS: The other day I saw a raised chevy on the side of the fwy with its rear axle almost off the truck. I guess whoever did the job didn't do a quality job. Hope he got some kind of warranty.

well, you could get some daystar coil spring spacers, that willlift your front endto the same height as the rear end and give the truck a nice stance. just a thought, good luck!

I've got the Fabtech 6.5" lift on my black 99 F150 4x2 Screw with BFG 315's. It put me about 11" taller than stock. Just barely fit in the garage now. Had to put 1.5" add-a-leafs to level it out. It rides pretty good, some bounce, speed-o is off 8-10 mph, gas mileage went down (now around 10-12 mpg), have superchip and dual exhaust, adding air intake (on back order, i guess it's being brought in on donkey from mexico), wife's too short complains 'bout climbing up and jumping out. It took some getting used to. for about two weeks I feared I made a big mistake. I love it now. my dealership has done all kinds of freebies cuz they think it's cool too. Plus I own 12 fords for my biz.

If you go this route, keep in mind stock rims have to go. valance has to be trimmed. Have had some difficulty with alignment staying put. seems large bumps add up quickly. something to do with no "possi-lock" or something. but it's all worth it. i'll never go back.

Thank you for your comments! I think I'll go with the Fabtech 3" kit. Does Fabtech provide installation for their products? and for how long?
