Lowering 2013 FX2

Just purchased a 2013 FX2. Love the truck, hate the stink bug stance. Ordered some 2/3 shackles and will install those first. Might want to go lower and want your opinions on dropping the front. Seems most use a shorter spring/strut combo, but what about drop control arms. What is the pros/cons on those. Love the way this truck rides and hate to compromise that. Thanks

No such thing as a 3" shackle for that truck.

Let us know how it turns out!

DJM has a 2" or a 3" version of the LCA. This was my go to install for a coworkers truck. We ordered the 2" arms and had about 2.5" net drop.

The down side to the aftermarket drop struts people tend to complain about the lower strut bushing having short life and start making noise

It's actually a 1.5" or 2"

There isn't enough room under the bottom of the bed for a 3" shackle

This is my coworkers truck I did. It's 2/2 on paper. We got more like 2.5" up front and just shy of 2" out back
