Truck Squat

Hi everyone I have a 2001 2WD Screw and want to put on the 7.5in fabtech lift but i want my truck to squat about 2in in the back. Does anyone have any recommendations to achieve this goal?

Get a block 2" smaller than the one the fabtech comes with.

Do you know any good brands to get a 3.5" block? The fabtech comes with a 5.5" in the back. Also do you know of anyone with pictures of a Screw squatting 2"?

There isn't a huge difference between brands really.

Here are 3" and 4" steel rear block kits for your truck. These are nice because they're angled to account for proper pinion angle.

What you could do if you wanted the squat is to run the 7.5" lift and add coil spacers (leveling kit) and itll lift the front up more giving you that squat, but it may mess with your alignment just a heads up, i ran this set up with my 2wd screw and i loved it but wore my tires badly

He'd need to get longer aftermarket control arms to keep the alignment in check if he went with a 1-1.5" spacer. Anything bigger than that and it'd still be out.

What do you guys think is a good level of squat? I was thinking about just getting 3.5" blocks to squat the back 2" but would it look better with 2.5" to have a 3" squat?

I want it to be a noticeable squat for vehicle enthusiasts and also a little bit for those less fortunate lol, but i also dont want my fenders eating tread or driving looking at the sky.

You may have some problems with the front fenders rubbing the tires if you go with a decent amount of squat and 35's. Rear fenders shouldn't be a problem.

Personally I wouldn't go with more than .5-1.5" at the max of squat. I think it makes your truck look like it's gotta take a dump.

Plus the more squatty you go the harder it'll be to properly aim the headlights.

The only time I like a truck that's nose high is when it's been built properly as a pre runner and the truck is nose high for function over form.

I'm not sure of any "vehicle enthusiasts" that would be super excited to see a truck squat like that for no apparent reason either.

Lol. 2" would just look super awkward. There is a Chevy around here that looks like that. Some young kid who thinks he's real cool. It makes his truck look broken. You going to put -24 wheels on it too and make it look like a roller skate with two flats in the rear?
