37x12.50x17 lift question
|
I have a 02 Screw with the 5.4 and 9.75 rear. I have a 3"body lift right now. I am wanting to run 37's on a 17x9 wheel. Can I do this with a 5" suspension lift? I dont plan on going any bigger in tires and I can get the 5" lift $400 cheaper than the 6". I just dont see the point in paying the extra if the 5" will clear.

You should be fine because you will be at 8" of total lift with the body lift, so go for it!

Yup you should be okay. What's the backspacing on the wheels though?

You should be fine, barely. If you plan on ever going taller or wider, get the 6.

No if you ever think you'll go bigger go with the 6" lift. Definitely stick with the backspacing you have now.

Right. I was referring to going with a 6 inch lift over a 5. You definately want to go with a wheel with 4.5 inches of BS.

Good choice, it would have happened eventually, and that would have cost you more to do it twice.
Bigger is better.
