Front suspension help

Im looking for a cheaper alternative for a 1000 suspension lift kit without using a body lift. I resently purchased 5" rear blocks to replace the 1.5" factory blocks. So i will have 3.5" of lift in the back, but the question is how to add at least 4" in the front, looked into cranking the torsion bars but that can only get me around 2" max. Any ideas?

I have a 2001 f-150 supercrew 4x4 4.6l.

If anyone knows where i could find a suspension lift for solely the front or maybe a 4" rear 6" front lift kit.

If thats not an option my second approach is a 5" rear block and something other than crank torsion bars up front

Im thinking 3" strut spacer along with cranked torsion bars may be the cheapest way to do things but not sure if it will work

You are pretty much SOL. You could get torsion keys, but they don't really do much more than just cranking your bars with stock keys. You are pretty much limited to about 2" unless you don't mind replacing ball joints all the time. then you might be able to get ~3".

If F150s are anything like Rangers then there are different spring constants for torsion bars. If you don't have the stiffest ones available then swapping for the stiffer ones would probably get you some height, but the ball joints will still be the limiting factor.

Torsion bars are the most unflexible kind of set up. I had them on my old dodge and I hated them. You really can't get more than 2" or 2.5" out of them without having your front end ride like a train and self destruct. If you try to get 3" or 4" by just replacing keys and tightening them, you'll have ball joints, tie rod ends, cv axles, sway bar links constantly going bad and having to be replaced. You're going to either have to settle for 2" of lift in the front or get a full suspension lift kit.

Your cheapest route would be a 5" rcx lift.
