4 wheel parts experience

After all my hours of surfing the web ....... I may just go to 4 wheel parts which is 20 minutes from my house, and get a quote on pro comp stage I rims and tires installed . I managed to get my level kit on without problems but I may leave this one for the pros . I'm going to just get a quote so I know how long it will take me to save haha. Gonna go with the classic 6 in and 35x12.5s . Hopefully by summer . I can't stop drooling over every ones jacked trucks . I may start selling stuff . My goal is to pay cash and not finance anything

Have heard of extremely bad luck with on line experiences, although I never have...but I've never done any on-line business with them. I have had great luck with in-store experience with them.

Go to the 4Wheel Parts website and see if there is a Truck Fest in your area...mine is this weekend! I bought my last two sets of tires and first set of rims at a Truck Fest as they're blowing stuff out. Try calling this weekend and ask if you can get Truck Fest pricing.

As for experience, I have NO complaints whatsoever, but I have never ordered anything from them. My experience has been face-to-face at two seperate shops (San Jose and Oakland) and at the past 5 local Truck Fests.

Send a message via Yahoo to Lightning Expo
I've ordered from them numerous times online. Not sure if its different than others who have items shipped though. I always do online order then pick up in store. They always call me about 30 min later and update me on everything that is going on. They know my family on a first name basis now haha. Good group here in orlando.

No complaints here. And they'll price match too. Have purchased wheels from them and have had them mount wheels and tires, install shocks and magnaflow exhaust.

i got my most recent set of tires from them and picked them up in store. they mounted them. i thought it was cool that their tire warranty covered the tires up to half tread while others only go to the first few 32ths of tread.

my only complaint was that they didn't have a machine big enough to balance my tires.

4 wheel parts experience

So here my experience with 4 wheel parts. Bought my 08 Screw 2 months ago. They wanted $6,000 for 6" lift, 20" rims and 35x12 tires with install. Seamed a little overpriced to me. Bought 6" lift from skyjacker off of ebay for $1099 with shocks included, ordered rims from gearworks off ebay for $580 and had discount tire price match onlinetires.com for 35x12 nitto trail grappler mt ($280 ea) $1200 after mount and balance with lifetime warranty. Having to pay shop $500 for install and I figure $100 for alignment. So total I am sitting at $3500. Do your homework and put competitors against eachother for better prices. Takes a little more work but saved me $2500.

Going to 4 Wheel Parts is like going to Pep Boys for auto repairs.......
You get a guy who is a certified mechanic (from which school they went who knows)
You're going to pay Retail for all labor and parts
and they will definitely try to sell or charge you for things that most would include!

rrozel, hey man did you get your kit in already? Im thinkin between that or a BL not too sure. Regardless Im wanting to install either one myself. Dunno which is easier.. Anywho you ought to try the install yourself it doesnt look to bad for a 2wd.

Yeah 4wheelparts often has good sales on stuff but you gotta catch them at right time if not, then your goin to get the retail price on stuff. Best to shop around unless 4wheelparts has a sale, like now they have a decent sale

what you want to do is talk to the manufacturer of the kit you are interested and be aware of the prices of the stuff you are shooting for as when it comes to this kinda stuff they are "the" experts...they tend to be more careful when it comes to dealing with informed and knowledgable customers, cuz afterall they do want your business....otherwise buyng online and a whole greasemonkey weekend sounds awesome too
