Are Bilstein 5100's the only adjustable shocks?

I'm not looking to spend quite that much, but I want to bring the front up an inch. Also, do adjustable shocks end up ruining front end parts over time? I've heard that level kits can put some of the front end parts at weird angles and cause premature wear. Would an adjustable shock do the same?

Wouldn't adding oem 4x4 shocks also do the same thing?

Thanks.

Rancho also makes replacement coilovers with adjustable spring preload. Also, an adjustable shock will create the same increased ball joint (and CV joint angles on 4x4's) angles as a leveling kit of the same height. If you stay at 2 or 2.5 inches you will be ok. Most everyone agrees that 3 inch kits create angles that are too extreme.
