Questions About leveling Kits...

I purchased a leveling kit for my 2005 F150 Crew, on the weeknd new off someone who did not end up wanting to install it.

I measured the spacer and its 1.5" tall, does this mean that it is a 1.5" in lift?

whats the max I can go on the front with a spacer? 3"???

The leveling kit itself will not be the same height as you may think. I'm pretty sure you got the 2inch spacer. Mine measured out to about the same I don't remember but when it was installed it acheived the 2inches as I wanted. So don't freak out thinking its not going to level your truck bc of the actual height of the leveling kit.

When I purchased my 2" spacer, I measured it and it came out to be 1 5/8". It actually raised the front end 2" though.

Don't go over 2.5 inches.

^ I agree. Some here are running 3 inches but majority of us have between 2- 2.5 inch leveling kits

what they do is rotate the strut 180 degrees and that gives you the additional lift. mine were 1 5/8 thick and the added twist on the struts gives me 2.5".

anything from 1 1/2 to 1 5/8 gives you about 2.5 depending on brand of level, 1 7/8 to 2 gives you 3 inch of lift. like others have said, 3" is too much. dont go over 2.5" max!
