2" leveling kit for a 2006 f150 fx4

I was wondering if anybody has put one of these kits on. Is it possible to use a strut compressor to lower the strut to get the spacer in above the strut rather than taking the whole frontend apart like the directions state.

There are write ups on here regarding installing leveling kits. They are not hard to install, takes a couple hours. Just compressing the spring will not help you get to the top of the assembly as needed, as the shock needs to compress as well, there is no way to get to the entire assembly without disconnecting the spindle from the UCA.
