5100s will not work on a fabtech lift because the lift comes with longer front struts already. 5100s on the 2 inch setting would actually lower your truck they can only be used to gain lift on kits that reuse the factory struts.... procomp stage one, rize ect.

It depends what Fabtech kit you have. I just installed the Basic kit with performance rear shocks. It did not come with new front struts. It uses extenders on the front struts. I'm not sure if the Bilsteins will work or not, just wanted to let you know not all Fabtech kits have new front struts.

Well unless I was shorted some parts. My lift came with extenders. Not new struts. I just got the lift last week and installed it over the weekend.

Every magazine review on the Fabtech lift and member review showed that the basic Fabtech kit for the 04-08's comes with 6 inch longer, white bodied, Fabtech coilover shocks.

Trust me, It a Fabtech lift. I can read and every box says fabtech on it, the front cross member says fabtech on it, it came with all the fabtech stickers I called fabtech for the installation manual prior to getting the lift. So yes, it's Fabtech. Look at my pictures in my post. It's in the 04-08 forum.

Brew doesnt have spacers he has extenders. Spacers go on the top of the coil spring assembly, extenders go on the bottom. Thats really weird you got extenders, mabye fabtech is going the cheap route now. I thought the fabtech basic kit came with replacement front shocks and coil springs.

Just so you guys know, I emailed Fabtech about the extenders vs the new struts. They called me yesterday and told me the struts they were supplying with the kits are basically junk. He said 90% of them leaked or bent and they had to replace them all under warranty. He said it was costing Fabtech a lot of money to do this so they started looking into other options. At this point there will be 3 options for the kits. One will be with the extenders that I have, the 2nd will be with new Bilstein front struts and the 3rd option is with the new dirtlogic coilovers.

Just thought you guys would like to know.
