Just lifted. Need options to raise the rear

Well FINALLY.... 6 years and 3 trucks later I lifted my truck this weekend. It was a ton of work but so worth it. I love it. Only thing is right now the rear is 2.5" lower than the front and I want to get it so the truck sits level.

I installed the Fabtech 6" lift with rear performance shocks. I also have a 1.5" AAL in the rear.

Should I add another leaf, take the leaf I have in there out and add one to make up that difference as well, or should I do it with shocks?

I want the ride to be as smooth as possible. What are my options?

I'll get some pictures soon!!

Thanks,

BREW

Check with SkyJacker for a 5" new leaf pack, and get rid of the lift block. I did, and absolutely love the ride now. It is smoother than with the block. And it should bring the rear end back up to it's normal height.

And congrats on the new lift.

You should talk to the guys at rize at get one of their lift blocks. They have some pretty big ones to my understanding, and they dont require drive shaft spacers or anything. That would be the only way to keep your ride the way it is, because if you buy a bigger AAL or anything its only going to get rougher or stiffer.

Or you could do what Da Wolf says but for alot more money.

Go with some Deavers they will build it to your specs. for around 600 bucks. I removed my 8" blocks and had Deaver build me a set for 900 bucks.

Before On stilts

After Full on Devers springs

Anyone else have any ideas? I've been searching the site all day and can't seem to find much info on this. I know I can't be the only one that's had this issue.

Figured it out. I couldn't sleep last night or concentrate at work all day and it finally hit me. Something was wrong with my front shocks. I found the extenders I put on were bolted up wrong. Got home from work and had it fixed in just a couple hours. It looks way better and rides so much better now.

HAHAHA!!! Maybe I'm the first guy to ever get them or something, because it seems no one has used them. The kit came with and extender that mounts to the bottom of the front struts. It's kind of like a bracket. I'll try to find a picture online right now. If not, I'll take pics of mine tomorrow
