lowering

i have a 2001 f150 xlt ext cab with 5.4..... im thinking about puting a 2 4 drop on it. but somebody told me that i have to go with a spindle drop in the front cuz if i just use springs i will never be able to get a front end alignment?????? PLEASE HELP!

There have been a lot of lowered 97-03's here and at FTW over the years. Some people have needed adjustable camber bolts to get the alignment within specs, but that's it. Also, I'm not a lowering expert, but I believe only a few companies make lowered spindles for the 97-03's.

ok thanks dude. i just got my ford like three weeks ago and i love it lol i ordered a edge evolution chip it sould be in any day now!! all i have right now is magnaflow muffler with dual turndowns but i have big big plans for it lol

yea you should just need camber bolts for the front to get it aligned.

If you do spindles you will need 18" or larger wheels in the front to clear
