I have looked around for a steering stabilizer for my 06 f150 4x4 with a 6" pro comp lift.I ordered one from pro comp that said it was for a 2wd and 4wd but when we put it on it did not fit and we called pro comp and they said that the kit was for a 2wd and not for a 4wd like the website says and nobody else has one for my truck exept fabtech but they say it will only work with a fabtech lift does any body know if that is true or if somebody else sells one for a 04-08 f150 4x4 HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe BDS mades a steering stabilizer setup but it might be like the fabtech where it is designed to work with their kits. really though its more likely that the brackets they include are just designed to bolt directly to their kits. You can probably get the stabilizers and have a shop fab up the mounts.
I have a Fabtech lift and steering stabilizer on my truck, and i don't see why it wouldn't work on a truck with a different lift, the inner mounts bolt up to the lower horizontal bolts on the rack, and the outer setup just clamps to the tie rod, IMO its a chincy setup but im running it for now, i could take some pictures of the setup or im sure there might be some on here already, search the forums because i think i came across a thread where the guy had put the Fabtech steering stabilizer on a non-lifted truck

Do you think you can send me some pics of your steering stabilizer
have you tried skyjacker? i had a local 4x4 shop call skyjacker and got a dual steering stabilizer for my 2002 f150 with a BDS lift. im sure that would make a single that would work on your procomp.

Heres some pictures, i Painted everything in the kit black, because it comes with some sort of galvanized, metallic finish and the shocks were white, didn't want it to stand out under the truck
