AS Leveling Kit Before & After Pics
I finally got around to installing my AS kit yesterday. The first pic in each set is before and the second is after. The 2" kit actually gave me 3" of lift. It looks a little high in the front, but if you notice the running boards still have a little rake toward the front of the truck. Maybe I should raise the back a little now, but don't really want to. Anyway... For your viewing pleasure:

Thanks for all the great replies! This is hilarious because my son helped me with the install and as soon as we got the truck down off the jack, we stood beside it and both said in stereo "looks good but needs bigger tires". We just laughed...
As far as the extra inch of lift, it isn't due to the fiberglass cap. I measured from the ground to the top of the wheel well before installation and the distance was 3" higher after we were done. The cap was on before the install, so I think that would eliminate that. I've been reading in the forums where different trucks are getting different results with the actual lift, so just add this one to the list.
As far as the pics... I didn't realize how accurate they were until I started posting them. If you notice, I parked about 6 inches further back in the "after" pics. I'll have to work on that... ...lol
Looks like I'm in the market for new tires & wheels now. My son is pretty cool... He helps me justify these types of purchases to my wife. He helped me talk her into my HU, amp, & speakers.
Just want to add a couple things... The complete install took us about 2 and a half hours, but we weren't trying to break any speed records either. Just kinda hangin' out and workin' on the truck on a Saturday afternoon. Advance Auto Parts has a great tool loaner program. I needed the 30 mm socket and tie rod removal tool. You pay for the complete set of tools and when you return them you get all your money back.
