Hey 4x4wolf... u say that 3 or more puts too much stress. That just blew my plans. I just picked up a 07 HD model and was looking at a 2 /4 drop kit. Now I gotta re-evaluate. So I should just go with a 2" level in the rear thats it?

thanks. Sorry bro didnt mean to jack your thread but maybe we both can get some help.

2.5 inch is the highest you want to go with a leveling kit. Like said 3inch it too much and will put your ball joints at bad angles. I have a 2inch and mine is level so its up too you and some even after installing a 2.5 up front will put an aal in the rear

Have people just forgotten how to read and use the search button? The leveling kit question gets asked at least 10 times a week. I mean you dont even have to search, just READ. Come on people...

You may want to start a seperate thread and ask this since it has nothing to do with the original topic.

He is referring to 3" UP in the FRONT. If you are looking to drop this thread does not apply.

'04 through '06 trucks should a max leveling kit of 2.5"s the '07 and '08 will be the same with a 2" leveling kit... 3" kits put to much stress on the upper ball joint and the CV angles will be to severe causing premature ware...

Actualy the break in year models is 05/06. The 2004-05 trucks will take the 2.5" kit and the 2006-08 trucks will take the 2" kit.
