Would like my Lariat to have the height of the off road package

What do I need to make a stock 2006 SC Lariat the same height as the off-road package? Also, what is a good replacement shock if I leave stock height?

Is your truck a 4x2 or 4x4?

If 4wd then you are the same height. Looking at your sig I see you say "2006 F150 SC XLT LARIAT", is the SC supercab or supercrew? Might make a difference in what kit you get if you decide to level it. And is it an XLT or Lariat? same suspension, just different paint and interior stuff.

If you have 4x2 you can go with a 2.5 leveling kit or leveling shocks for the font, and put a 2" or 3" block in the rear.

Sorry I should have been more specific, yet the off road package still seems taller...I expand on my sig...

It's an 06 F150 Supercrew 4x4 Lariat...

A 2" leveling kit, 34 or 35" tires, and maybe some Rancho 9000xl shocks...

It's an 06 F150 Supercrew 4x4 Lariat...
Your truck already sits the same height as a FX-4 of the same year model. The off road package didnt change the suspension setup of the truck, just gave different shocks, skid plates, themed paint and interior peices and stickers on the bed.

None of the equipment you listed or pictured comes from Ford on an FX-4 model truck.

Looks like Bilsteins are the way to go...

It looks like I can get a complete set of Bistein 5100's for about $450. The rears look easy to replace; how are the fronts? Should it be taken to a mechanic for the install? (I do have access to a hoist.) From what I've found on here, that will leave the rear at stock height and I can increase the front by 2 inches to level it. (I have no desire to lift any further than that.)

Any thoughts?

I am really happy with mine, they ride great. You'll need a heavy duty spring compressor to do the fronts but you can rent that from most auto parts store. Your correct its 2" up in the front and same in the rear.
