hey, i'm new to the site and have been wearing out my search button trying to reasearch what lift to go with.
i have an 04 screw 4x4 with 2.5'' level kit but obviously want to go bigger. I was origionally looking for a rize kit, and called all the rize dealers in my area. They have all told me that they no longer carry rize, that they have a terrible warranty and that the steering system on the rize is prone to getting stuck up with dirt/sand/grease etc.
first question .. is there any truth to this? i would much prefer to buy a rize kit but if i'm spending that kind of money i want quality thats backed by the manufacturer.
second question is how can i safely and reliably get to 8'' on a fabtech or pro comp stage 1 without a body lift??..any input would be appreciated.
Rize around here is prob the best lift and also pricey but ALOT of members here are running Fabtech and seem to love it just as much. Now your question was how can you get 8" of lift out of the fabtech 6" lift ?? You can either get your coilovers cranked 2inches and will have a bit of a stiffer ride or you can go with a 2inch leveling kit from autospring for about $90 shipped.
Edit: if you got the money go with the Rize and you wont regret it. Look BadA** too
basic kit would be fabtech spacer+ leveling kit spacer most people shy away from this but im sure ive seen people on here that have done it and not had any problems
RIght. The standard Fabtech kit comes with new, longer coilovers.

That is the question that is delaying me from getting my lift i want to leave my 2.5 level on and do an AAL with 35's but here that it will mess up the driveline?

Where you able to get an answer from the post I started? I'm going to go with the 2" Bilsteins that way if I still don't like my CV or Ball Joint angle I can put it back to just 6" lift and not at 8".
