You said you have a 6 " procomp , doesnt the upper control arm get replaced with that? If not looks like you need that done to fix the ball joint.

And look how close your UCA is to the strut. I wonder if it hits under normal driving conditions. My 6" RC causes the UCA to hit the strut when there's no weight on the suspension so you can imagine what another 2.5" will do.

With noly 6" lift yes the warranty should cover the ball joints being that there not under anymore stress than they are from factory height. Also Ford uses the 6" Procomp Stage I lift on there trucks that they lift and sale. A Ford service tech told me that warranty will cover anything unless they can prove what you added to the truck cause that part to fail/brake. And it's quite easy to see that if my ball joints went out that the extra 2.5" lift will cause extra stress on them.

I haven't had an rubbing issues with the extra 2.5" lift. It's not as close as it looks in the picture. Would have to get a better view from the side. Procomps kit doesn't come with aftermarket Control Arms.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've clocked around 30K so far at or around the same angle or worse. I've yet to have any problems that everyone talks about and how my truck is going to blow up.... haha.. kind of comical. When and if it does I'll let you know.

Sway-a-way told me as long as you have around 2 inches of droop you'll be fine. You should see the angles on some long travel trucks. They will make these angles look silly.

I've only heard of maybe 2 or 3 guys on here who have had to change there ball joints, but they also had 50k+ miles on there trucks with the lift. For as many people who are running this setup with either 2.5 " or 2" added to there 6" lift there aren't many having issues. I may buy the Bilsteins though just to drop down to 2" instead of 2.5" just to be safe. I'm pretty set on going back to 35's only b/c I don't want to change my gears yet. I have a few options. I still have the Terra Grapplers. Also I would like to get the Toyo MTs if I can. I'll see whichever will be the easiest and not cost me any more $$ out my pocket.

Do you mean that fords come from the factory with the fabtech lifts? I have only seen them with procomp lifts.

Your CV's are at less of an angle than mine. I would appreciate if you can get a pic of your ball joints. If going from 2.5" to 2" makes that big of a difference I may do that. My CV angle doesn't worry me as much as my ball joints do. Are the Bilsteins only adjustable as stock or +2", or can I adjust them to +1?

How do your ball joints look with just the 2.5" leveling kit?

I guess they dont look too bad, Im not the most educated when it come to this but wouldnt a 2.5" be the same angels with or without a Lift on it or does it cause more of an angel to it while lifting the suspension? I think a 1.5 AS and a 1.5 AAL on the 6" would sit nice.
