Yea my kit did not have the crush washers either. I knocked my alignment out within 10 minutes (going slowly over a curb just to test it). Since then I've tightened the bolts and have not had any issues but I don't offroad with it.
My passenger side tie rod boot rubs on the spring, I had to move the clamp as it was gouging the spring. I wonder if the spring was supposed to be rotated because the coil would not have to be right there.
I've thought about adding Bilsteins at the 1" setting because I'd like the front to be a bit higher than the rear. My only problem is the UCA already hits the strut cup when topped out so adding more lift will only make it worse. Of course the suspension only tops out (fully extends) when your front tires are off the ground.
So does the rough country lift not put the front end back to the factory geometry. Because how are your uca hitting the coil spring at full droop if its back to Factory specs.
UCA is not hitting the spring, it's hitting the top of the strut. I've heard it called the strut cup but its what supports the top end of the spring. The "strut cup" (or whatever) is nowhere near the UCA path of travel without a lift so its tough to say if geometry is different. It's a larger diameter than the spring so the UCA would contact it before the spring.
Go to JordanP's pics on page 3 to see what I'm talking about. In the second pic you can see where the UCA contacted the strut. Look to the right of the ball joint. You want to make sure your ABS wires don't get pinched in there.
Ok i see what your saying because of the 6" spacer the coil spring assembly is brought down more so it hits the top of the assembly. I guess thats where bilsteins would come in handy.

A great improvement from the cell phone pic you took when you bought the truck. Good job!

Actually I don't think Bilsteins wouldn't help you, the top of your strut stays in the same place. Coilovers would help or the taller strut that Fabtech sells.
Well with bilsteins it would allow the top of the strut to go up into the strut tower since there is no spacer. The 6"s is made up on the bottom off the strut instead of the top like with a spacer. Therefore, the uca would connect with the coil spring because the strut cup or top of strut is all the way up in the strut tower. LOl i dont know if that made since but it did to me. haha
With a 6" lift you need the bilsteins AND the spacer. If you are talking just a leveled truck then yes the strut cup would be up away from the UCA travel.
Tyler33 or anyone else with the RCX, I been reading up here about the lift not coming with alignment bolts. Im not to sure about them or where exactly they go but my truck pulls so bad i had a cramp in my hand after driving 800 miles this weekend, I have had it aligned twice and the tires rebalanced. Do most alignment places just put it back to factory settings? Should I ask them to make it where it would pull right a little and it may even it self out?

Mine runs straight, I'm guessing they either didn't do a good job aligning yours or you knocked it out of alignment. Does yours make any sounds when turning to full lock?
did they give you a print out of the alignment. my shop gives me a before and after with colors showing in and out and normal... true they dont use cam bots on the RCX but i dont believe factory used them either. I am still waiting to have a open weekend to install mine.
yeah they gave me a print out and it showed where they corrected it, I think they did a crappy job on it becase i brought it back to the place that my shop had it done at and they were A holes about it, I didnt hit any bumps as soon as i left the shop i noticed it was still pulling, about all they did was correct my sterring wheel which was off center.
