lift kit need some help

lift kit need some help

hi guys, im intrested in purchasing a 6inch lift kit for my 2005 XLT extended cab 4x4 5.4, i was wondering if any body knows where to look for lifts that are a decent price and still good quality, suggestions would be great thanks guys your help is much apprecaited.

I'd suggest the 6 inch Fabtech. Look around at 4Wheel Parts, Desert Rat, National Tire and Wheel and the usual off road shops.

I would either get a fabtech or a procomp lift

x2 just make sure you buy/already have wheels that they will work with the pro comp, fabtech allows the use of stock rims/tires. i would stay away from the rough country kit, alot of extra drilling/cutting, the kit is cheap for a reason IMO, not alot of thought went into designing it, i could designed the bracket better in cad

oh ok, thanks guys i will check out the fabtech right now see what has to be done to isntall it and such.

I have been running a Pro Comp lift, no problems. Both are great kits, can't go wrong either way. Good Luck!!
