there is no 4" lift kits that i am aware of for the 04-08 only 6 inchers--pro comp or fabtech are the popular ones

Right. That is sorta the purpose of a full suspension lift. To lift the truck and retain the OEM suspension and steering geometry.

Like they said a full suspension lift will keep stock geometry, however there isnt a 4" for us 2wd's. You could look into a 3" body lift or something like that if you don't want a full 6 inches.

I have a 4" spacer on the front going on, and the angle are not that bad but I wonder if I just got the front end parts to the 6" lit will it still be alright like the lower cross member to drop the lower on down.

from all the kits I see they only use a 2.5"/3" rear block for the 2wd lift kits....well I only have that in. So I might as well just get the drop cross member and the maybe the new new spindles, leave on my 2wd shocks and 4" spacer that looks like all I will need. and my ride will be the same as a leveled fx4 wiht stock geometry

or if I just put in a 3" spindle it would life the upper control arm back up to stock geometry problem solved. I will go ahead and replace ball bearings while it's apart with moog

does anyone know how taller one of the 6" suspension kit spindles are than a stock one. they aren't 6" taller are they I though that cam from the spindle and the new shock.

buy a lift and do it right, you just can't piece together a lift and use the parts you think you need.

just spend the money on a 6" kit and dont piece together what you think works.

and a 4" spacer on your front, have fun with that. IMO my sisters and dads trucks w/ 2 1/2" drive rough in the front now after they had them installed.

6" is not high. it will put your fenders around 43" at the highest point of the arc. its really not that high as your thinking.

I have had a truck with 6" before and more I know where it will be it is just not what I want I was trying to fins a 4" kit and use the front parts to lift my front 4" and level it out with my 2.5" fx4 blocks

it's not a matter of being too high it's i do not want 6" or to pay for it

if they did make a 4" lift, i would bet money it would cost more than a 6 incher.

by the sounds of it, you have no idea what a suspension lift consists of....the subframe lowers the a-arm mounting points. there is a spacer that lowers the rack and pinion to less the strain on the tie rod ends , then longer knuckles address the angles for the upper control arm, either a spacer is used on top of the shock assembly or a longer bodied shock is used to make up the 6" difference from stock. basically that is all the front lift consists on a 2wd drive truck...you just can't pick a part and use it, it all is designed to work together, if you did try, it would just bind up anyways.

good luck cobbling together your truck together.....

nope I am a complete idiot that has no idea what a suspension is and has not owned 2 lifted ifs trucks and 2 lifted jeeps or never installed lifts either.

apparently I can not convey what I am trying to accomplish over the internet to you people and have everyone on the same page so I will do what I have always done and just do it
