Question What first? 3" BL or 6" Susp?

I have a 99 2wd f150 flareside. im wondering what lift do most people do first, if i want a 6+3 set up eventually. My tires are still stock(small and lame)
and i dont have enough money for new tires ...yet.

but would it look dumb if i went big( because of my small tires). this is my first mod ever. i would love to keep the cost as low a possible.

and what about leveling kits? why am i having such a hard time finding a leveling kit for my truck? 2-3" level plus the 3"bl would save money and time. if i can find a leveling kit

any help thanx

this is what id do.

1. 2" level kit (daystar)
2. 3" Performance Accessories Body Lift
3. 35" tires
4. 7.5" Fabtech
5. Regear the rear axle to 4.56 or 4.88
6. 37" tires

I agree w/ trimble.... leveling kit and bl and some 35's first since it'll give you the most for the least money......then you can save the money for the rest w/out suffering through being stock for very long.

alright that sounds good to me. i was takin a look at daystar, and they didnt have a 2" level for my truck. only a 1" 1.5" and 2.5". the 2.5" sounds great, buut it says i need after market control arms...which means more money? do i really need those for my tuck?( 99 f150 2wd 4.2L v6 flareside)

id look around and get a 2" i wouldnt go to a 2.5"

If you cant find a 2" then go with the 1.5"

not sure what aftermarket control arms you need maybe someone can give you better help. On that one. I know someone with a 2wd F150 ill ask him what he has his truck sits really nice. with a level kit and body lift and 35's

There is definitely a 2" spacer out there, and you don't wanna go more than that. I had one that I was going to put on my truck (had plans to do the same setup you want with 38's on my old 4x2) that I sold to somebody on here. I can't for the life of me remember who made it, but I'll see if I can dig something up on it.

edit: It was made by trailmaster
