what do you mean??

is your truck a 4x4 or a 2 squealer? do you take it off road, canyon carve, haul trailers etc??

I like my "custom" suspension, I can carve corners it rides great, looks great being lowered a bit and I can still tow a trailer if i want

How much weight you tow also would determine if you need to add air shocks. Does your rear sag or bounce around when towing?

your best bet would probably be some new bilstein shocks in all corners, and if you want to go lower to help lower the center of gravity do that at the same time, so you order the correct shocks for your particular suspension.

Funta: I got a question for you, totally off topic. Is the frisco land rover dealership off of 121 like everything else is in frisco?

to answer the question about weight I tow a boat most every weekend its somewhere around 3500 pounds.

Patman: the land rover dealership is actulay one of the only dealerships not on 121 its on preston about an eighth mile north of Lebanon on the left side.

Tarajerame, What suspension do you have on your green truck? All ive been able to find that you have listed is just that its custom.

Tarajereme basically has a full lightning suspension on his green truck (coils and leafs) and i think sway bars front and rear too.

Cool, thanks for the info on the dealership, i might be up that way at some point. If you need a hand with the install let me know

Then you would need shocks and bags on the rear to avoid sag when towing and save your shocks in the long run.

it started with '01 Lighting Coils and '03 Lightning rear leafs and sway bar followed by the belltech rear 2 inch drop shackles

now I've got the '02 Harley front coils and I am going to upgrade to bilstein shocks and the 58" long bars with a 4x4 expedition front sway bar

do not waste your money buying a Lightning take off front sway bar the stockers are the same as the other F-150's but the 4X4 expeditions are the larger ones and worth the upgrade

Functionality

Doesn't matter to me who makes it, How a suspension performs is my idea of the best suspension !

I'd say run the bilsteins. I don't have them on this truck. YET...
But have ran them on other vehicles in the past and have always been very happy with them! If your running a leveling kit, Bilstein makes shocks for our trucks that take the lift into account too. Check out there web site...

tarajerame: is the expedition front 4x4 sway bar any better than the stock F-150 4x4 sway bar? granted, I am lifted but it still may be a worthwhile upgrade?

So im really leaning towards the hotchkis tvs system with the bilsteins. Do any of yall have any bad experences to tell about this system? I have heard some people say that it is a really stiff ride but they were using the QA1 shocks I think they are called. Do the bilsteins make all the difference?
