AS 2.5in Leveling kit installed but i think there is a problem?

Ok so i installed the AS 2.5in leveling kit tonight. After i got it all done and took it off the jack stands well it sure seems like the front end is super stiff now. Also my drive axles seem to be angled alot and it doesnt look its suppose to be like that. I saw the pic of the write up on how to install them and looking at his axles they seem pretty good with no strain on them.

Also when i go into 4x4 mode i get a clicking like from the axle grinding?

Did i damage something or while installing it can you lower the control arm to low and cause problems on the axle?

Is there a "R' and "L" on the AS 2.5in kits or either will work for each side?

I don't want to put to much strain on my axles or suspension components. Ill try to get pics of them to help show you what i see.

you will need to have an alignment done before you can comment on ride, control stiffness and function. toe in or out and off camber will play tricks on you.

The spacers are universal left/right does not matter. Everything only goes back together one way, the only thing you could do wrong is not meeting torque specs. As F_ast said alighnment is key. I think you will be ok. If you think things are out of wack get us those pics.

No i didn't measure the spacer???? I dont feel like going through all the trouble taking it out if they did. Ill be pissed.

Does this look bad? Is this possibly be able to be fixed by an alignment

Good point by fx4tough7!

By any chance have you experienced any clunking noise when your suspension is extended to the max? I have a 2.5" leveling kit with stock shocks and my upper control arm is making contact with the spring when the suspension extends fully.

Im trying to figure out how to prevent this from happening on my truck.

AS doesn't make a front 3" spacer that I'm aware of.

What front shocks are those? If they are longer than stock that is your problem. Adding the spacer to longer shocks won't work.

Ill get pics sometime today for ya

I just got back from the alignment place and the axles look pretty much the same as they did before.

I still dont like how they are sitting-

I measured the spacer itself- its only 1.5in? What size should they be? Can someone measure there spacer that hasnt installed theres yet?

The strut is a ford strut so it should be stock. So im not sure if its longer than the normal ones?

I get no more clunking in 4x4 mode and i dont ge tclunking going over bumps? Im just worried about the strain on the axles.

The AS 2" spacers measures 1 5/8 and the 2.5" measures 1 3/4

I measured the spacer while on the truck so i might not be getting a accurate measure but i sure know i dont have a 3in spacer from AS...so that rules out that idea.

The truck is leveled nicely though...

But does the axles look ok though- is this normal?

Well the bigger the spacers the worse the angles will look...back to your first post though...I have had no problems with mine. It seems that the ride comfort has been unchanged...no unusal noices or problems. As far as if the angle looks normal, honestly I don't know to much about the front suspension to give a good answer, here is a pic of mine with the 2" AS
