Lifting 06 f150 4x4

Im currently running a 6" suspension with 35x12.50x17's on an '06 F-150 4x4. I wanna bump up to either 37x12.50s or 13.50s.. is there any possible way to do this WITHOUT getting a body lift or getting an 8" suspension?

What type of suspension lift do you have? Most 6 inch lifts offer adjustable coilovers as an upgrade. If you add these you can crank up the preload for another inch or so of lift and fit a 37x12.50 with the right wheel. You could also add a leveling kit to the suspension lift as long as you are not stacking a spacer and a leveling kit.

Like Wandell said, there are ways to increase the height of your 6" lift depending on what lift you have.

I too have an '06 F150 4x4 with a 6" lift and 35x12.50s on 17" rims. My plan is to go up another inch or two and run 37x12.50-R17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Since I have the Pro Comp stage 1 lift kit with a 6" spacer, I will have to either switch to coil-overs or get a set of Bilstein leveling shocks that can give me 2" more lift than I have. As for the rear, I am planning on replacing my leaf springs and blocks with a set of National Spring Company leaf springs and running only the factory block.

Let us know what lift kit you are running, and we can let you know what your options are for getting another 2" of lift. If all else fails, you could even buy a set of pre-runner type fenders and replace the front bumper with something made for pre-runners. These along with your 6" lift should give you clearence for 37's quite easily.

I have the Pro-Comp 6" suspension. I think the best way would be what Tornadom said and get the Bilstein leveling shocks and add a leaf to clear the 37's. Looks like it would be only $400 or so to buy all that if not less
